Thank you Dave Timms for getting us to the point where we can use our own website for debate. There has been so much work to do, and we are most grateful to have reached this point.
The site is not intended to compete with the excellent Supporters unofficial site which keeps us all informed on football matters at BTFC, and other more general matters relating to football.
Rather it gives us an opportunity to debate the work of the Trust, and Trusts in general, reinforcing how suporters can take a responsible role in the running and ownership of football clubs.
Our Links page is as yet still in its early stages, but one important Link is the one to Supporters Direct. SD is not now merely a national body enjoying the financial and political support of Government. You will see that it now has an international role. Its influence in the development; maintenance and support of the democratic ownership and governance of football clubs has been a very positive part of the revolution in club management since the ITV Digital crash in the early part of the decade.
The Business Plan is now up on the site and provides us with a transparent working document for the coming months and years. As with any plan, its only as good as the people who mamke it work. Thats you - and if you feel you can contribute to filling any of the many blanks, do come forward to find out a bit more.
The site will be developed as our organisation develops. You may have ideas how it could improve, or different issues we should be addressing. Feel free to have your say.
